MA exhibition

My final MA exhibition at The Cambridge School of Art showcased a new direction for me.

I have been working on installation and woodcut prints for the past eight months. Working in site-specific locations will be something I will be pursuing during the next year.

On the radio...

I was recently interviewed at Cambridge Contemporary Art by Daniel Baker.

Here is the link.

Jo Tunmer in the Cambridge Conversation

Jo Tunmer and has been a professional artist for 11 years. If you’re a regular at Kettle’s Yard you’ll also know her as being an Artist Facilitator and leader of workshops. Jo tells Daniel Baker about her journey.

Shed

Shed is the name for my final Masters in Fine Art Printmaking at Cambridge School of Art.

I have been studying for my MA for the past two years and I will be finishing at the end of September 2018.

Come along to the Preview on Thursday 6th September from 5-8 pm. The exhibition then continues until 13th September 2018. The Ruskin Gallery is at the back of the main building of Anglia Ruskin University, East Road, Cambridge.

Shed explores recycling, regeneration, the past, the present and the future, and pays architectural homage to this simple ubiquity of suburban living.

MA Printmaking

I am now in my final 2 months of my MA Printmaking studies at Cambridge School of Art.

My work is all about the garden shed.

If you would like to know more about my final project then please do come along to the Private Preview on 6 September. The show will then be up until 13th September.

RIP - Ryan Williams

Effects of development on urban trees

I am currently working on a site-specific module for my MA Printmaking course at Anglia Ruskin University.

Due to my interest in the juxtaposition of urban development and the effect on trees I have situated my work within the city central Cambridge Botanical Gardens.

This is a subject close to my heart and one that will be on-going after the completion of my masters final project.

For more information please do email me.
