Cambridge Original Printmakers Biennale 2016

On Thursday 22 September until Wednesday 28 September 2016 the second Cambridge Original Printmakers Biennale (COPB) opens its doors at The Pitt Building on Trumpington Street, Cambridge.

Cambridge is a hotbed of talented Printmakers and I am one of the founders of this exhibition. We wanted to bring this unique printmaking community together and to help demystify to a wider audience what an original hand-pulled print actually is.

39 Printmakers who specialise in hand-pulled originals have been selected to exhibit their latest collections. Print Houses, Printmaking Education Centres and the MA Printmaking students from Anglia Ruskin University will also be exhibiting.

My preferred hand-pulled printmaking method is solarplate etching. I will be launching a new landscape collection titled 'Middle Ground'. This is my reaction to the growth of the city I currently live in. If you would like to find out more than come along to the exhibition and talk to me.  I will be there most days from 10.30am until 5pm, except for Tuesday 27th Sept (on Weds 28th doors will close at 4pm).
